Using modern equipment, laser guidance and continuous monitoring of jacking forces, we are able to install pipelines with high accuracy in a wide range of ground and groundwater conditions.
Where microtunnelling is used
Microtunnelling is ideal for crossings where long open trenches are not acceptable. A remotely controlled tunnel boring machine excavates the soil while pipes are jacked in between a launch and a reception shaft, keeping disturbance at the surface to a minimum.
The method is particularly suitable for dense urban areas and sensitive locations where accuracy, safety and minimal impact are critical.
